Brussels Airport in Zaventem is about 70 kilometres from Ghent. There are three popular ways to get there: the train, your own car or a taxi.
By train
From Gent-Sint-Pieters a direct or connecting train runs to the airport. Cheap, but less practical with heavy suitcases or early flights. Also keep the Diabolo surcharge in mind.
By car
Driving yourself gives freedom, but airport parking adds up quickly on a longer trip. Traffic on the E40 around Brussels is a risk too.
By taxi
