Sint-Amandsberg is a district on the east side of Ghent, right next to Gent-Dampoort station. The Antwerpsesteenweg is its main approach road. The area has some well-known places, such as the Campo Santo cemetery and the Groot Begijnhof (Great Beguinage), which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List together with the other Flemish beguinages.
Dampoort: close, but not always handy
The station is around the corner, but with luggage, for an early train or when you need a connection at Gent-Sint-Pieters, a taxi can still be the best choice. We take you to Gent-Dampoort or straight to Gent-Sint-Pieters, depending on your train.
